Huawei P9 Plus, The Touch Press Is Finally Here.

Huawei recently formalized P9 Plus, at a press conference was also an opportunity for the brand to unveil the classic P9 . More P9 shows the outline of P9 but incorporates a larger screen. There is still much wiser than the P8 Max which is being replaced, even if it brings innovative features, such as its screen Press Touch, Touch Force equivalent in competition.

Last year, Huawei unveiled a P8 5.2 inches and a P8 Max 6.8 inches . This year, just formalized P9 retains a diagonal of 5.2 inches, but its big brother, the P9 Plus, avoid rubbing tablets and therefore revises it's diagonally downward, with a diagonal of 5.5 inches.

The novelty lies in supporting the Force Touch, under the name of Touch Press, the famous technology that allows the phone to measure different finger pressure levels display (here only two different levels) to perform different actions. A feature that had seen him pass on a special version of S Mate which finally never been commercialized. Huawei promises 18 functions dedicated to the Press Touch.

In terms of definition, two new smartphones share the same figures, that is to say, 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), but here in Super AMOLED and not IPS. Also in the technical aspect, the Huawei P9 Plus incorporates the Kirin 955 which is simply a Kirin 950 with four Cortex-A72 2.5GHz (2.3GHz against the Kirin 950) and 1.8 GHz four Cortex-A53.

3D fingerprint sensor

In terms of design, the P9 More resumed codes classic P9, namely a shell made entirely of aluminum and a 2.5D glass screen that allows protection to be slightly rounded for a better grip. There is also a 3D fingerprint sensor at the rear of the terminal, which works a bit like the Snapdragon Sense ID to analyze the depth information of the fingerprints, to ensure more security.

In software, P9 More is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 interface. In terms of dimensions, the P9 More is limited to a thickness of 6.98 mm despite a battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh, which is appreciable. For the rest, Huawei announces the dimensions of 152.3 x 75.3 mm and weighs 162 grams. P9 Plus is expected at 699 euros for an expected availability on 1 June.
