The Huawei Mate S is a new Android phone that was announced at IFA 2015. It is the first smart phone which is provided with a pressure-sensitive "Touch Force" screen, which is also used by the iPhone 6S. The special display various actions can be performed based on the force you apply on the screen. Mate S would be a very good buy as it was 100 euros cheaper. The suggested retail price of 649 euros for the 32GB model is on the hefty side, while we are accustomed not really Huawei. The housing, hardware performance and fingerprint scanner are perfectly fine, but the screen, the software and the camera on the back are not the high-end level that you would expect for the price. That does not mean that the S Mate is bad. On the contrary, it is a great phone with some very strong and some weak points. But 649 euro to 100 euro too much for what you get.
